Hair Extension Pricing

The cost of hair extensions varies depending on several factors, including the desired length and thickness, as well as your current hair and lifestyle. To get an accurate price quote, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our specialists.

Hair Extension Maintenance & Upkeep

Resewing or retaping is typically required every 6-10 weeks. Hand-tied extensions can last up to a year with proper care, while tape-in extensions may require new hair every third resewing or retaping. With hand-tied extensions, you can wear your hair up in a high ponytail or a bun, while tape-in extensions are better suited for low ponies or other styles that keep the tape hidden.

Choosing the Right Type of Hair Extensions

Hand-tied extensions (sewn in) provide a fuller, more voluminous look and are ideal for filling in sparse areas. Tape-in extensions, on the other hand, are better for adding length and fullness to specific sections of the hair. Both options can be low-damage, but hand-tied extensions (or volume wefts) are generally gentler on the hair since they don't use adhesive.

Hair Extension Consultation Process

During your consultation, we'll discuss your hair goals, current hair care routine, and desired length and thickness. We'll also perform a color match and provide you with a quote for the cost of the extensions. A booking fee is required to secure your appointment and order the hair needed for the installation.

Day of Your Hair Extensions Installation Appointment

On the day of your service, we'll cut and blend your extensions with your natural hair, as well as provide you with a SWAG bag that includes shampoo, conditioner, an extension brush, and hair serum. If you need any color services, these will be an additional cost.

Preparing for Your Hair Extensions Appointment

Please come in with clean, dry hair on the day of your installation. We recommend avoiding conditioner at the root, as this can cause the extensions to slide down your hair.

Caring for Your Hair Extensions Between Appointments

To keep your extensions looking their best, we recommend brushing them thoroughly several times a day, being gentle with the base of the extensions, and brushing wefts individually. Avoid washing your hair every day, and use oil or serum to keep your hair hydrated. When swimming or engaging in physical activity, be sure to secure your hair well to avoid tangling or damage.

Recommendations

Consider scheduling all your re-sews ahead of time to ensure that you don't go too long between appointments and damage your hair. Additionally, we recommend using a silk pillowcase to reduce tangling and matting while you sleep.
